Bitch Slap

Well, I've been reading blogs like crazy lately trying to keep up with the local political race and found some juicy stuff. Former commissioner candidate Chuck Jones has gotten himself into some hot water in the blogger world, specifically at the Safe As Houses blog. Former candidates, especially those with plans on hold, should never call a potential voter with different views, "an Internet clown who probably doesn't even have a real job." Even if someone presses your buttons, that's just asking for trouble. Jones made an attempt to remedy the situation, but unfortunately people tend to hate being called a joke in public forums. Also, you should avoid insulting a blogger at his own site, that's just dangerous. Hence, the expected shot heard around the world, in the form of an open letter to Chuck Jones, has been fired. JMAC retorted with a well written piece, offering an apology along the line of Chuck's but it sets the stage for a WWF Smackdown in the internet arena. I can't wait to see what happens next.
